Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself to this site. My name is Jason and im fron Tampa Fl. Im currently on deployment with the Marine Corps in Iraq and will be back to FL in the coming months for leave prior to heading to Parris Island for Drill Instuctor School. I bought my first C5 about 9 months ago and I cant say enough about the car. I love it. So does the wife. Here are the mods that i had put on the car while ive been deployed and am excited to drive it when i get home:

1999 C5 6 Speed
Comp Cam 232/234 595/598 @ 112LSA
Dart 225 Heads Milled to 59cc
Ported 92 Fast Intake
92mm Throttle Body
American Racing 1 7\8 Long Tubes
Borla XR1 Exhaust
Underdrive Pulley

Hopefully when im back in Tampa I can meet up with some of the members on this forum and get a chance to hang out. Take care. Jay:D

There's a gettogether shceduled for March 14th (check the board later and I'll have it up) at Kens in Auburndale.

There's also a weekly gathering of gearhead vette owners at Andresh shop on Dale Mabry, Insty Tune & Lube, just south of Bearss Ave.

Lot of former mil types there as well. You'll fit right it:thumbsup:

Jay, Having to be alert 24 X 7 X 365 kinda does that to you! Takes quite awhile to recover from that kind of "life". 19 months in Vietnam was enough for me. I would rather "deploy" my Vette when I'm in Florida :thumbsup:!
Welcome to the forum Marine, and by the way........I'm WAY to old, and WAY to out of shape to "drop and give you 50" when we meet so don't even think of pulling that one on me. Maybe "1", but it'll be a "cheater" for sure!:yesnod: Enjoy that Vette for all it's worth......................

Thanks everyone. I will deffinatly get some pics of the deployment and our aircraft when i fly. I have a good amount of pics on my camera, i just need to get them onto the comp :D. Jay
