78 pace car
recommended to this site. hope to stay around a long while. putting together my 78 pace car (re-do of the entire interior wall to wall, firewall back right now). i live in hollywood and am president of the cruisers of south florida, a local, non-manufacturer dependent (completely open) car club. our membership includes everything from some very hot motorcycles to a bloomington gold 67 cpe with a smog system and a/c (only 77 made that way), a frame off 73 corvette cpe, to customized PT cruisers and prowlers. if you're down this way and want to say hey, drop me a note. for those in the area, i am usually out at the tower shops on friday evenings.

thanks all. all i can provide right now is an exterior shot as the interior is both all over the garage (all the old stuff) and in about 16 large boxes in my front foyer (yes, they call my wife a saint, lol!!). interior project is a complete wall to wall, ceiling to floor rebuild everything from the firewall out (and up, lol). my car was produced at just about 2/3 point in production (4396).
 
:welcome: 78 pace cars are the best pace cars made of any year. Black and silver was simple and beautiful. I was selling cars while in college, we had two pace cars. Those cars were like rock stars, they drew a lot of attention on the street and in the showroom. I sold one for $19,995
