After scouring the various sports cars (am currently a BMW motorcycle buff) for a 'cabriolet/convertible' sports car, to include some pretty neat exotics I decided on a Corvette. Perhaps it was the fulfillment of a teenage dream, perhaps it was the gorgeous lines of the vehicle, or perhaps it was the price/performance ratio. Whatever the reasons, consider, BLACK, BLACK, BLACK. Being new to the Vette scene (is Vette ok, or is that a no-no among the brethren?). Also, any way to keep that dual/cut-out exhaust open all of the time or is that something that shouldn't be done?:NoNo::thumbsup:). Well, hope to meet some of you and wonder if any BMW cycle owners out there also?

First off, welcome:welcome:to the site. Whether it's looks, bang for the buck, etc, you've made a great choice.:thumbsup: And "Vette" is perfectly acceptable. Black is one of my favorite color choices, even though keeping it clean can be a major headache sometimes. I can't answer your question about the exhaust but I'm sure someone will be along shortly who can. Again, welcome.:welcome:

Vette is perfectly acceptable :)

As far as the exhaust IT IS POSSIBLE you can pull the fuse OR buy the "mild to wild" switch....
Anyway I am so happy you joined the forum !!BLACK is our FAV even though it is a PAIN to keep clean !!! But it looks so dang good :yesnod:

Be careful who you let work on your vette, not just any shop will do. Do your research,ask questions !! Just cause they say they can fix it doesnt mean they will !:ack2:
