• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Everyone,

I was new to this forum several months ago when I moved to Ocala, FL. Well, I moved on to bigger and better things, but I'm still in FLORIDA!!! OVIEDO, FL is where I call home now.

SO, I'm hoping anyone in or around the Oviedo area can suggest any regular local events as well as any shops to take the car to. Living in an APT doesn't make well for working on your car. ALSO, I'm in need of tires and I was thinking of ordering a wheel tire combo. Would anyone suggest a place friendly enough to do something like this?

Thanks and good to still be a forum member!
Allen

:welcome: back...

I got mine from TireRack.com
They are in Georgia and seem to be priced right.

Yes, welcome back. Of course, we are quite a bit bigger in membership than we were back in August, too! So more and more, this is getting to be a more attractive place for people to hang out in.

:welcome: I'm a relative newbie myself, having arrived since you left. Boy, you really made a move, from the little O to the big O! Although I live in the Tampa area, I get to Orlando frequently and am a member of Corvette Club of Orlando (CCO). A very cruise oriented club. As far as shops go, Norris Motorsports (Mike Norris) in Altamonte Sprgs. seems to have an excellent rep. and has done work for members of our club. He is well known in the vette community and you should have no trouble finding his # in the book.
Welcome back again and good luck!:yesnod:

Welcome back to the GANG. I hope all is well with you. Perhaps a local vette club or good mod shop could help you. Good luck.:welcome:
