Hi I'm Ken and I reside in Central Florida. I plan on buying my first Corvette (A C3) this coming year around July or August. It'll be my retirement toy. Glad to have found you guys (and girls).:wavey:

:welcome: Let us know how your search progresses and don't be shy about asking questions. We're here to help.

Welcome aboard Ken, glad you found us as well:)

Good group here. Good luck in your search for a C3:thumbsup:

Hello and :welcome: to the site, Ken. When you do find that vette, make sure you post some pictures for us to admire!

Awesome, thanks for the "welcome aboard". I'm sure I'll be seeking help as the search narrows.

Again, thansk,

Ken:thumbsup:

Welcome. :wavey: Enjoy the search for the perfect C3. It took me nearly a year to find my 1975 coupe. Actually, a long time business asscociate had it. He was too busy to enjoy it, so a deal was struck.
Be patient. Theres a lot of junk out there. Find a trusted mech. with a lift. Pay him the money to take a real hard look. Don't get disappionted when he says the one you love is a loser. :toetap05:

Have fun!!!

Good advice

Thanks, I will be patient. A good mechanic and someone who has more experience and knowledge in Vette's will be a great help. I plan on finding and using both. Have been doing lots of reading of Richard Prince so some of the basics are finding their way into my mind.

Ken:D :D

Am looking at......

A 72 listed on Vette Hound, identified as a 72 LS5 454 with A/C (being a Florida boys A/C is a must) if you can take a peek please give me some first impressions. Color is a pretty steel cities gray.

Thanks. Ken:shrug01:

Nice looking car! Mileage?
Now..are you looking for that paticular year model or just looking for a Vette in general ? Are you going to show it, use it as your DD or both?
I ask because, 27k for an Older Vette that you don't intend to show etc. to me is alot of $ (I'm a tight wad though).
IMO...For that kind of money or a little more you can get a C5 with a bumper to bumper warranty that has more bells and whistles and close to the same HP depending on Mods etc. JMO
Either way you're choice and Great Luck!

That one is a beauty! I love the early C3's and intend on having one, one of these days  ................... tom:)

OK lets see am looking for a 72 might settle for a 71. want a high optioned car, a 454 would be nice but.....4 speed a must. AC a must also. Might be shown ocassionally and no she will not be a daily driver. Must be numbers matching and at least near original configuration. At least that's my goal. As to milage I'm not sure. have sent the seller an e-mail asking for more details.

yep you're probably right .....

Want A C3 (kinda like me a little older and well preserved) but I don't see a 63 split window that will ever fit into my budget:wavey:
