We stopped by the Hendrick Motorsports complex on wednesday while we were in North Carolina. A very impressive museum and garage. I would encourage anyone who travels near Charlotte or Concord to stop by. On display is a GTP " Spirit of Charlotte" Corvette along with the many Nextel Cup cars of Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, and others. It's a first class facility, it's no wonder that they are always top contenders. I mean, gosh, their shops are cleaner than my house! Check it out!
 
Had him over at the house but he only wanted to stand around and drink Pepsi. :D

Myself and the wife have toured all the race shops, if you get a chance visit RCR, very nice. Dale E's. old shop is now a huge museum, they have live pit stop practice you can watch up close and live, (son even picked up a few lug nuts) We got the chance to meet Kevin Harvick and Clint Boyer, very nice guys. That place was very impressive, Richard C also has a winery up the road which was a nice change of scenery from the race shop stops. :thumbsup:

Im a Harvick fan as well, and my second favorite driver is any one who puts Kurt Bush into a wall.....

Though he's more entertaining to me now than annoying since he's not much of a threat to win races anymore. It's so funny listening to him trying to be nice and win fans. :rofl1:
I hate to admit it but Kyle is starting to grow on me just a little bit.....

Kyle is a fun driver to watch, he is fearless

I lost a few respect points for Kyle when he won the first C.O.T. race, then in a post race interview said, "I know we won, but the cars still suck". NO class.

On my bad list is David Stremme. He smack talked Harvick for weeks on his show where he was one of 3 or 4 bush drivers being followed for a reality show on SPEED TV. The worst thing was he was in the wrong, then he trash talks Harvick to the cameras for weeks.... weenie.

Ya know, I don't think that kyle was really thinking about all of that at the time and I guess it did not bother me because I don't like the COT either... Cost Kevin some much needed points catching on fire...and it's ugly, and I could go one and on lol
I missed the Stremme stuff. Is that show like Nascar 360 that used to be on FX?
Yesterday was a very depressing race for me to watch! At least Burton pulled out the win in the stomach ache car but I think Kevin was probably ready to drive his piece of trash directly into the wall!

Yea, NASCAR 360 was the show I think.

I was happy to see Burton win too. It kept Hendrick from getting the never before 5 victories in a row distinction. Plus I love to see Jack Roush pissed, and his driver was the one passed on the last lap. I like Kenseth, but cannot root for him while he drives for Roush.

I don't like the C.O.T. much either. It is great for the die cast makers. All they need is to make one car and put different decals on it. Years back NASCAR was test bed for manufacturers. COT :ack2: .I am hoping with the new camaros, challengers, and mustangs maybe the Trans Am racing will make a comeback.

Even without the COT cars, they are pretty much all cut from the same mold anyway. Change the rear clip and the front grille and they are all much the same car. Not like the cars of yesteryear. LOL:rofl1:
