Hello :wavey: everyone,
I am a new Corvette owner living and still working in Lake City. I've owned the 1998 Coupe since the 26th Feb. My first of course. I retired from the US Army some 15 years ago now. Currently working for Uncle Sam at the VA Medical Center. I am still trying to "catch up" on all the things I need to learn to take care of the new to me old car. I can do minor work on cars so the Corvette is just a little over my head... (ok a lot over my head). The really good part of all this is that I got to make room in my garage for the car. Hopefully I can clear out some more junk to make it tidier. Other hobbies and activities include The Church, a little shooting, golf, and regular exercise. I recently underwent cervical fusion surgery (March 7) so I am convalescing at home for another two weeks or so. The Corvette is Pewter in color and the body is in really good shape. I do have the oil sending unit problem and the driver's seat rocks front to back. Did some work on the grounding points so all in all I have started. Married with 3 adult children still at home (hers-pray for us please :rofl1:). Plan on a trip to see my Dad next week in Charleston, SC. and yes, I plan on driving the Vette. They are a little noisy but hey it's a sports car. I know, too much too soon. I am a former calibration technician for the Army and I currently repair medical equipment. I am also an Amateur Radio Operator (KE4YTA) though I don't participate much.

May His peace be upon you and yours,
ms
