I went and watched I am legend last thursday for the preview showing. Ill tell you what, it was an amazing movie! I think it would have been better if will smith was driving around a Z06 instead of a GT500.. but thats just my opinion..lol I will tell you though if you want a good fright, watch it in the IMAX!!! I watched it a second time on sunday night because my church was cancelled due to incliment weather! I even took home a AWD Escalade just to make it and they cancel! If you ahve a chance to watch it in the thearters, I suggest you do so, but dont sit too close, I find it hard to focus on fast moving movies (action movies ect) its better when your about half way up.

I give I am Legend :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Mr. Smith has a knack for making good movies. My favorite movie that he has made to date is still " Independence Day". Thanks for the write up.

i robot was pretty good as well. i am legend was really good minus a few parts that didnt make sense at all. not sure how such large parts of the film could have been so inconsistant, but all and all a great movie.
ps i thought the same about the tang gt500. ford must have kicked up some funding for the film

I agree it was a good movie :thumbsup:, but the GT500 did the job very well trying to keep up with the deer :hehehe:, if he was driving a Z06 he would of out run the deer :rofl1:

I don 't think it's a remake as much as it's based on the same book. The book is called "I am Legend".
Omega Man is one of my favorite classic Charlton heston movies. If you liked Planet of the Apes even a little you'll love Omega Man.

I didnt think that it was based on any other movie.. It looked orignal. well the concept of the whole virus thing and people dying isnt anything new... but you know what i mean

True! Did anyone notice there was a "Manhattan Ford" or something like that, dealership tag on the car? Maybe it wasn't just Ford who kicked in the dollars.

I dont know if they did that to show where he got it, or the fact that he didnt need to register it? I liked the huge poster of batman spiderman on the corner.. you think they used that as advertisement?

I noticed that too. Funny considering that would never happen since one is DC and the other Marvel!!!! Back to the cars, actually if I'm not mistaken, wouldn't a base model C6 also gotten the job done considering how much of a cow the GT500 is?! I also thought the gas prices on the old sign were hilarious and then considering he was driving a cow, how it was kinda a way to say "who cares?" Don't sacrifice horsepower for gas mileage!!!

Well, my son and I saw the movie on Friday and to tell the truth, I wasn't overly impressed with it.:hide:

I gotta correct you as well as myself on this one. I saw it again and it was Batman and Superman, not Spiderman.

My 17 y/o daughter and I went to see this movie this afternoon. We thought it was well done with the right amount of suspense. I was sorry to see the dog end up the way it did!

Yeah, that's what my wife said. He should've perfected the cure on the dog. The dog goes into the safe with Ana and Ethan, then Will Smith blows himself up. Then the dog, Ana and Ethan roll up into salvation together!:hurray:
