Hey Rich, mine arrived yesterday.

The car I'm describing is identified as the "Corvette Summer Car" and apparently sits in MAM's My Garage Museum.

If you're lucky you'll miss this cat. cover :ack2:

Gordon, in my humble opinion, what you missed is one really ugly contomizing job on a C3 to include the custom paint. If I knew how to get it to the puter I'd post it.

That and the one done for Deathrace 2000 were both on the January 2008 cover of Corvette Fever and had feature articles on both cars.
 
The Corvette Summer car the driver sits on the left side. The whole steering box and all were not moved. They used two motocycle sprockets and chain, the only thing moved was the steering wheel. The chain connecting the wheel to the other side. I had a Corvette back then and was selling them as well. In Ohio the clubs organized and went to the drive-in to see the movie. I thought the car always looked wierd, but believe it or not a lot of people liked that car.
