Today, after purchasing the new Van Halen cd, my new to me C5's "Blowse" head unit eat the disc in the Best Buy parking lot. Is there anyway I can get my newly purchased cd out of the head unit by myself?

Or is this Kharma's way of telling me that Van Halen sucks?
 
Jarhead. A Jimmy Buffett CD would have worked first time and everytime. Just kidding (kinda).

Had that occur to me a few years ago with the stock unit in a Buick and the CD player ended up being replaced with an after market unit. Absolutely destroyed the CD getting it out. Wish I could offer more.:shrug01:
 
Tell Best Buy that you believe the CD you bought from them was defective and destroyed your CD player. Demand restitution! :thumbsup:

At the very least maybe they have the installer guy handy and he can help you out......
 
Problem fixed, I slid an envelope into the tray and it spit out the cd. So far it is being ripped to my iTunes collection. Now I just need to wait until Pioneer releases their new DEH-P9400 headunit.
