In-Formal Car Show Bradenton ?

Tampa has a get together at Insty Tune every Saturday evening. Is there any interest in having something similar in the Bradenton / Sarasota area. There does seem to be a few of us in the area. Got the idea when Joe kept us hanging around the Wing House all day.
Maybe get together once or twice a month just to BS & :peelout 1:
 
That could be a cool idea. Perhaps a different place every month to try different restaurants or one common place for all to meet. I think it's doable.
 
If this is going to happen, it will have to be a joint effort from "the group" so anything I say here are only my ideas at this point. The Tampa Insty Tune gathering seems to work well, so I'm looking at them as a source. It would be great for Andreh to open a place down here for us to meet.

I think one location would work best so people would always know where it's at. This is more of just a meet & BS, so a restaurant wouldn't be needed, but can't rule one out as an option.

Sounds like a great idea. Some of us from the Tampa area could make a run down there too on occasion. Might be a good caravan:thumbsup:

I'd suggest finding a spot (even if it is Ricks parking lot:rofl1:) and keeping it there. If it's a business, establish a rapport with them, let them promote it.

Moving it around means people will have to look for you. People generally speaking, are lazy. Usually results in poor turnout and a show or gathering thats hard to build.

Think about moving your bank around evry week:rofl1:

Hooters / Wing House I have no objection with about any place but:
I would like to find a place that has some lights
Cars should be viewable from the main road

Maybe Mel's Diner would welcome us. It's convenient on US 41, major heavy traffic intersection for exposure, lit up at night, food is ok. Hooters would probably work too.

I'd def be down to go to some meets, even if its to bs with other owners lol. 6 more days till i pickup me car.

Mels is definately car show friendly, but they always seem to have something going on.

The Wing House where we all met on 41 recently might be good since it's right on the main road and the Roadhouse Restaurant has closed leaving all that open parking lot.
