C3 Insurance

Just alooking for a bit of feed back. My C3 "Goldie" has been insured with Heacock since I got her but the rate of right at $450 for a car I guess to be valued at 50K seems a bit high.

Who do you classic Vette owners use and if I may inquire roughly what do you pay yearly.

Would value opinions too.

Thats right in line for the value and your (I suppose) good driving record.

The nice thing about Heacock is they are good on claims as long as the car is documented well.

I agree with Tracy.

That's about in line and better than some, and IIRC, with less restrictions?

There were a couple of others that I checked with years ago, but they had so many restrictions and exclusions, that I felt truly uncomfortable with going with them.

If you're interested, and I don't even know if they offer it, but I use Amica Insurance.

They have an office here on Tampa and don't do much in the way of advertising.

Thier regular rates are the lowest I'd found at the time and i can tell you first hand, thier handling of claims (unfortunately, our daughter placed us in a position to examine this first hand:mad::rolleyes:) and customer service, at least to date, has been top shelf:thumbsup:

You might give them a call and see what if anything they offer?

I'm with Grundy...and pay a little over $1200 (for both Vettes) a year with the '82 being insured at a agreed-to value of $25k and the '06 insured for a value of $75k. This is full, and complete, coverage.

There is no mileage limit, but they do 'insist' that it not be a daily driver. I've used them once already for a slight hit and run on the nose of the '82...with no deductable when I made the policy.

Grundy had me send in one full front shot, one side view, and one 3/4 view of each car.
