Rolling down I-4 westbound between Lakeland and Tampa yesterday morning, came up on a construction worker going WAY TOO SLOW in the fast lane..
All of a sudden a Bud Light can blew out of the bed of his truck and Slammed right into the hood of my Vette!!!:banghead:
So of course I jammed the brakes and backed off a bit... Regained my composure, only to be hit with what appeared to be the other 11 cans of his empty twelve pack!!!! One by one skipping off the fenders and hood and windshield!!!
I couldnt change lanes, as traffic was next to me on the right!!! I had to sit there and watch all these cans, which seemed to be attracted to the silver color of my car because I think every single one hit me.
I was losing my mind!!!! I was screaming at the top of my lungs, and finally got the redneck to pull over with some spirited lane changes, and calling the cell phone number plastered to the side of his white, Ford, laborer truck!!
After a quick inspection, only one scratch on the car. Directly on top of the Driver's side fender. Wont buff out so I guess I'll have to live with it for now. Got his insurace info, and a souvenier can in case I want to make a claim... Chalk it up to life in the fast lane...
