• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Its 4AM... Do you know where your vette is?

Well, all things considered it appears that the only solution is to marry the girl so you can put her on the insurance for your DD and then let her drive it to and from work while you sleep. :D

omg you sound just like her!

Well, 7 years is an awful long time to be together. Why not take the plunge?
I hear it's pretty simple to get a divorce these days.:rofl1:

Just kidding!

ouch lmao. I dunno, I'm comfortable where I am right now. I know its a long time, and I know I should, and will marry her. But I still like being a kid way too much :lmao:

I've got no bills other than my insurance, rent, and 1 credit card, I don't worry about groceries cause I always eat out.. when I don't have to wake up to drive her home from work I sleep till noon most days, only work about 3 hours a day, 3 days a week (I love my job).

BUT! Maybe for Christmas she will get a surprise

You go, guy! You're only 23 years old and have been with this girl for 7 years! I call that a major commitment:yesnod: You sound like you've got yourself pretty well figured out for such a young man. Good luck, you're on your way!!
Hope you can get her car fixed soon so you can catch up on your sleep :yesnod:

Thank you very much :) Yeah, I got with her when I was 16 and she was 15, definatley have had our ups and downs, but thats how it all goes.

As far as me having myself figured out..not so much, but I attribute being a good person to my parents, I can't remember one day growing up when I didn't get my ass kicked. Taught me responsibility and consequences.

Well (going into old guy mode offering advice), if there is one thing I would recommend to you to succeed in life (nothing to do with finances, prestige, or corporate ladder stuff), marry someone who will be your best friend for life. Then, no matter what curve balls life throws at you, you will be able to handle them in stride. :)

Well its that time again. I didn't get to make my 4 AM post cause my internet was out, but rest assured I was up!

ugh, its gonna suck today. I'm getting the call from the mechanic about her car. I have to work. I have to pick her up early so she can do her laundry, so I'm pretty much boned on sleep again :(

I Agree with RichZ, BUT....IMO, it does help when the Bang Bang Chitty chitty Bang Bang is good as well!

Be careful Ynke, after that comment, TxMomma may not let you come out and play for a while!

WOOHOO I finally got some sleep!

I feel asleep about 11:15 and just woke up! Its not much, but better than before

YOU GO BOY!!!(with the sleep)

Well! I just got the call from the mechanic, they pulled the valve cover and all the valves were good.

Forced air into the #5 cylinder and it came out the dipstick.... either rings are shot or theres a hole in the piston.

I'm gonna go get it today and do my own checks on it tomorrow to make sure.

Damn shame, she only had it 2 months, and it was bought from a friend who got it new, ran perfect the whole time he had it, and when I got it, he feels terrible, even came over and helped me work on it on Thanksgiving when the problems started.

Other than the motor the thing is damn nice, custom wheels, nice stereo system and all.... but its not work dumping 2-3k into for a new motor. I may try to sell it or part it out, dunno yet.

Rich
