I just registered for the Lake Mirror Classic in downtown Lakeland Oct. 16th registration includes event entry, lunch for 2 and a vehicle display information.

Received my check-in card in the mail today. There is a city block just for corvettes. This looks like it is going to be a big show for the autofest and I have never been to a concours event either. Look to be a great weekend.

Carrie and I have been to several. It's a great event and they put the Vettes on the street facing Munn Park. You'll have a grand time. Lots of cool cars and folks.:thumbsup:

This will be the first year we have been but I think it is only on Sat. THere is a road rally on Sun, but I think the show will be over Sat afternoon.

1972 Corvette Big Block LS6 As you can see Munn Park right across the street. There was plenty of shade.

My favorite 1959 Ferrari 250GT race car. There was another that was my second choice an original 1969 Camaro ZL1 all aluminum 427. I though I had a pic but my Camera operator must have missed it. :shrug01:

And finally the stars of the show a 1922 and 1923 Miller Indy race car and board track racers. The engines are only 90 Ci but with the supercchargers said were capable of close to 200 MPH

A few general pics of the show. If you have not been I highly recommend this show for next year. It is well organized with each brand/model having designated parking, and a $10 credit for lunch at one of the local sponsors. :thumbsup: Lots to see and cool weather make this show a must see.

Almost forgot Austin Healy 3000 MkII Again I don't remember the year it is a late 50's early 60's

Last cannot forget the Z16. One of the benefits of having a car in the show is that you get a personalized display sign that you get to have what you want to include on it when you register.
