Latest Caravan News??

Nothing right now. Were in that time frame where it's too early to confirm some reservations (rooms or events for people to do) so we hope to have some news soon. It's still over a year away, but time flies and we can get some headway as the year draws closer.

Are we responsible for our reservations in Lake City and Atlanta or does the Captain get a block of rooms? I know we have to make our own reservations in BG.

My memory of the previous Florida caravans was the captain provided the participants with the names of the hotels in Ocala and Atlanta where there were blocks of rooms held. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello Caravaners!

I know it's been awhile since any news has been updated, so a quick note to let you know what is taking place.

Arrangements are currently being made to have the Atlanta Motor Speedway available to us for Parade Laps, Hot Laps, and Road Course Laps!

As soon as the arrangements are finalized, I will send you a notice to go to our NCM web site for details.

For any of you who would like to do HOT LAPS, I would like for you to get signed up as early as possible. We are hoping to keep the cost the same as in 2003, which was (I think) 5 laps for $75. WELL WORTH IT!!!!!

The AMS requires money to be sent in well in advance, so we will let you know the exact cost for you to send in to me. We are working in conjunction with the Georgia Caravan, and we need to do our fair share for obtaining the site.

Motels are being contacted, and I will let you know more when I update the web site.

See you in '09!!!
