IT IS GORGEOUS !!!!

1968 Firebird :hehehe:

We are doing some work on it for the guy.

He spent a crap load of $ and has no bottom end power and a few other

things that should not be happening especially when you spend $$,$$$ to

try and fix it !!!!!!!

So he called us and said "I was told to bring it you" :D

Smart man he is :crazy03:

Man, I LOVE the dual bazookas on the hood! I've been saying for years that they should be standard issue on all vehicles. People would be a LOT less inclined to pull out in front of you....

But even besides that neat option, that's a really sharp looking car!

So I guess that car was made back in the day when a tune was done with wrenches and feeler gauges rather than a computer, eh?

Kinda looks like Chip Foose from "OverHaulin" got his hands on that one.
Like the native turkey herders up here say "WICKED PISSAH"!
Would NOT mind having that one in my garage at all......even WITH it's "problems"
Bet that an LSx swap would cure his ills........................
Let us know what fixes the bottom end power issue.

An LS1 just may be in the very near future :yesnod:

we will keep you updated

What a shame. If its a SBC, BBC, or Pontiac V8, they can all be made perform as well or better than an ls.

The customer is still trying to figure out what he wants to do...we've given

him our recommendation and a few other choices and he asked us to give a

quote on a LS conversion....

now its just up to him:shrug01:

and the customer has made a decision......

HE WANTS TO GO WITH THE LS CONVERSION !!!!

Project will be started after all the parts are in over the next few weeks...

We est HP to be around 550ish at the crank.....:crazy03:

Pics to come soon :)

So what is in it now?

It is a carb LT1 with cam ONLY and wont even spin the tires over....it barely

made over 200hp on the dyno.....(edit: Got a call today and I feel this part shouldn't have been said...so I am taking it upon myself to take it off :)
'cause im just that nice ;) sorry (u know who you are)

So we are about to make sure he is happy when he leaves us

Wow...a set of AFR heads and the right cam and he'd be over 500 crank HP if the rest of the bottom end is in good shape. Even ported stock heads would give him over 400 RWHP with the right cam. But I guess you pay the price when you dont' know how to build your own stuff...

yea there are cheaper ways to go and we gave him options that were a lot

cheaper for him but for some reason he went with the LS conversion....so if

thats what he wants thats what we will make sure he gets. :yesnod:

paid doing what we LOVE !!

Yeah.... and I think my C5Z is going to be getting some stuff that Chris will be looking hard at for his own race car(s) in the future.... :hehehe: That carbon fiber drive shaft seems to have caught his eye....
