Love Is Blue for SALE!!

Didn't Sell on E-bay!!

Well, the bidding closed last night and I did not get any bids close to my reserve, in fact I only got a couple and WELL below the reserve, so I guess I'll be seeing you all in LOVE at some upcoming events after all. That part is a good thing. :dancer01:
Thanks for all the words of encouragement. You guys are great. :wavey:Glenn

Sorry about the bids Glenn:(

Maybe there's an underlying reason?

If there's anything we can do to help out, let us know?

What kind of sponsorship are you looking for? I deal with a lot of businesses and professional daily. Might be able to stir up some interest?

Worth a shot!

I think the reason is the economy, I am sure and I was afraid that would be the deal when I spent the money to list the car, but I had to try.

As for help...
I would think a company like Mother's car care products or a local tire company could be rewarded if they passed some money my way for using the car's image in ads etc.
A new look in wheels and tires would update my car from when I originally built it, I know, but I can't afford to go the $2,000-$4,000 plus for todays wheels and tires.
A company into engine modifications that could take this motor to the next level (EFI etc) would also have a good platform to advertise on.
Between the expenses to GET to a show (gas) plus the entrance fees, any show you go to is $100 for the weekend or more. Any help in that area in exchange for promotional advertising with the Vette would also help.
A company to pay for the expense of doing a calandar showcasing my car would be a good deal. I tried to put that together myself, but my wife said we couldn't afford to spend the $1,000 up front to produce them ouselves.
Thos are some of what I had in mind. :shrug01:Think you can find help in any of those area's or ones I haven't thought of? Glenn

I'm going to start asking around. Anyone else here think of anyone that might be interested?

Lets make this thing happen!!

INFO

I just had a call from USA Auto Sales.com based in Navada offering to advertise my Vette world wide in print, electronic media and publications for a flat fixed one time fee of $299.00. This fee goes till the vehicle is sold, reguardless of how long it take.
Has anyone had any dealing with this company? Their web site shows them as BBB memberers etc, of course. I'm really gun shy these days. Glenn

Have you considered selling it at Carlisle later this month?

Yes. I talked with my wife about whether or not we could afford to go to PA, but she doesn't see how we can do it with the price of gas now.
I appreciate your continued suggestions, but it looks like I'll just hang onto LOVE till after the economy improves...if I can make it till then.:nonod:
