• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Mandalay Grill-Clearwater Beach TODAY!!!

OK, it's my turn now. Thanks to Shadow (and Lamora) for doing ALL of the legwork and planning to set this shin-dig up. Thanks, too, for all of those that showed up and helped to make it a fun happening. Dotty and I appreciated the fact that you all took time out of your weekend to "welcome us back to Florida", and that's just one of the reasons that Corvette Florida is the best forum on the internet, and has some of the nicest people that we've ever met. I really thought that the "east coasters" coming all the way over was above and beyond, and if we start to have this on a rotating schedule you can count on Dotty and I coming over to your patch of sand! We really enjoyed meeting some of you for the first time as well as seeing some of you again. It sure was fun to put faces to the names that I've been seeing on the forum, and thanks to Bob, there's a video that will help me when the CRS (can't remember s---) comes back to haunt me. I was LMAO when I saw myself stuffing my pie hole with fries! Leave it to Bob to catch me at my finest! Nice turnout, nice place (thanks to the Owner and staff), good food (thanks again to the owner and staff), and truly GREAT company! Thanks again to all who participated in this meet and greet in any way...... Dotty and I REALLY enjoyed it, and look forward to seeing all of you again at future events!
Andy (the french fry stuffer ) :wavey:

Sounds like you guys had a really great time. Sorry Connie and I couldn't make it.... :(

We WERE gonna take a ride up there, but someone mentioned that it might be snowing and everyone but me bailed out when they heard THAT! :lmao: We missed you and Connie, but if we make this an annual event, like some of us would like to see happen, we'll catch you 2 at the next one. There was talk about having a meet and greet on the west coast (this one), then one on the east coast next year, then one in the center of the state the following year, then back to the west coast and repeat. That might make for an interesting post itself just to kick some ideas around. I'll post that up after I finish with this one. Also, for those who started out to make it over here and had to turn back due to car problems (Ken and Carrie for sure - Whatinthehell happened to Goldie Ken?), let me just say "Thanks for trying, and we hope that the problems were not serious (read EXPENSIVE)". Sure don't need THAT happening to anyone......

We wish you and Connie and Mike could have made the trip but hopefully next time. Check out the video and put some faces to the names. I am going to be the official cinematographer for the groups. I hope to do a much better job next time and I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. :dancer01:

Paging Kap142. I was truly disappointed when you had to turn around and go home. I hope all is well and you get the old girl running smoothly. You were missed.

Darn I missed a great outing. Hope my low oil pressure problems get sorted out today.
If anyone is interested there is a corvette show in Panama City Apr 22-23.

:dancer01: Thanks for the video Bob, great job, nice to finally put some faces with the names.
Gordon , thanks for putting everything together, and hope you enjoyed the rest of your anniversary weekend !!

It was good, thanks.
Slight change in plans though.

Went home, cleaned up and went to the "original" Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City.
Haven't been there in nearly 25 years.

Oh, and I met a real life "super hero"....more on that when i can down load the pics.......

Mike, if it's not there already, why don't you put that on the site calendar so Connie and I won't forget and miss it? The Tallahassee show at Champion Chevrolet is the weekend before so maybe we can do both shows up in this neck of the woods. I hope to hell I have my car back by then.... :crazy03:

Wonderful time on the West Coast!

We'll see what can be done about the next meet/greet for Corvette Florida on the East side of things...:yesnod:

Thanx everyone for took the time to set this up on the 15th...second time ever meeting people simply from an internet site that deals with a car. How cool is that!!??:dancer01:

We stopped by Ken/Carries' on the way back home...visited for another couple of hours I think...telling tall tales and comparing sizes...:hehehe:. They were so looking forward to being with us...but 'Goldie' acted up (vacuum lock??), so maybe by the time we have another meet/greet, things will have been worked out!

hello you all! is there any another happenings there? I want parties......
