Well i really don't want to but i'm really left with no choice....

Question, the car has a modified exhaust on it as it sits... do i need to return it back to stock before selling it? It has no cats on it and the A.I.R system has been deleted.

This is going on all over the place, folks R force to sell their Vette.Sorry to hear the news  If you have all of the original parts, i would put it back to stock and sell her that way.Unless you find a person that likes what you have done and is willing to pay alil more, then leave the mods on the car .My 2cents:D

I agree. I feel your pain and hope that the future is brighter very soon for you.:thumbsup:

Man, that sucks. Looks like Corvette owners are going extinct.... :nonod:

Oh it's not all gloom and doom over here...

I guess my post gave out a wrong impression, i didn't lose my job or anything; in fact the reason for the post is i finally bought a house! :dancer01:

Wasn't sure if i could keep the car payment and swing a mortgage on one income (gf is in school FT) so it being kinda impractical and expensive I thought i would have to sell it.

I may have found a way to hold on to it though... we'll see...

Hope you get to keep it. But there is nothing like owning your own home. I put off buying mine for years worked hard and saved. First I saved the amount for a down payment and own my own home and it has a garage to put my toys in. 5yrs after that I saved for my car and am now able to do it on a single income too. A little delayed graification and hard work and you can have whatever you want. Congratulations on the house and double congratulations if you get to keep the vette too.

Soooo when is the house warming party

I too am on the verge of being "Vetteless". I'm working on putting together a business that will eventually allow me to get out of law enforcement. I'm in the proccess of acquiring equipment using what assets I have available, to include my beloved 1985 Corvette. I have set my sights on the future, and when the time is right, I will replace it with another.
