Mexico Beach cruise - 10-18-2014

Bunch of local guys with various types of vehicles are planning a cruise over to Mexico Beach in the panhandle on Saturday, 10-18-2014 (http://www.davidthawkins.com/coastal.htm) for lunch at Toucans.

Anyone local interested in going? It's a nice ride along the Gulf of Mexico.

Awesome weather for it Rich! Unfortunately my V has developed a roar from the rear of the car. Doesn't seem to be differential whine or hubs. I'm hoping it's just a tire issue. I think it's coming from the left rear. That's what I'll be doing Saturday.....

Yeah, looks like the weather is going to be just about perfect for a drive along the Gulf of Mexico. Too bad no one else here is interested. Heck, I'm not even sure the local Corvette Club even exists any longer. :shrug01:

When I was replacing the passenger side differential half-shaft I decided to replace the hub there as well. Then I figured I might as well replace ALL of them since the car had over 90K miles on it. If you've had one go bad, you might want to think about replacing the rest of them on your car as well.

Anyway, the cruise out to Mexico Beach turned out really well. I think there were about a dozen cars all total. We had the only vette out there. Weather was just perfect, and the food at Toucan's wasn't bad at all. We had a table facing th Gulf of Mexico and a very nice breeze was blowing in off of the water. All in all it was a great day.

And my C5Z was running REALLY well.
