I know Bob.Going out to talk to a few shops in town here about putting my car back together.If I can get in touch with Chris before the weekend then I'll have to call the owner of the building to open it up so I can get my car and parts out.The only big problem is if the front suspension isn't put back together so I can move the car.Got the guys from the club here to help me when I want to get it back.

Well, that's good news that you have support. Not knowing the situation this may be a dumb comment but possibly you can put the front of the car 2 rolling floor jacks. 5 or 6 guys could then get it on a trailer.
 
Mike, my best advice is to document everything. Take pictures, keep your phone records, text messages, every contact and attempted contact. Report him to the BBB and to the Dept of Ag and Consumer affairs. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. It sucks.
 
Waiting to hear from Rich if the shop is going to be open this afternoon. If it is I plan on going out and get my new heads and some other parts to bring home.Hope to go and get my car Tues or Wed.I need to talk to Chris on when he will be there.

I'll tell ya one thing, if they're not and if anyone treated me like this they would be the sorriest sob on the planet. I would cause them so much grief they would have to disappear. I can tell you how to do it via PM and it's all legal.
 
Still no word if Chris will be at the shop today.I may just have to contact the owner of the building to open it up. Or have the local law enforcement contact Chris to come and open the shop so I can get my car.This is starting to be a real nightmare!!!!!!!!

Mike - I have just given up trying to figure out what is going on. I'm not going out there today. I'm planning on running out there tomorrow, however, and will assess the situation then.

Sorry, I should have told you earlier, but I got so fed up I just went out and took a walk in my woods. Wasn't in any hurry to come back....
 
Went out to blunstown today.received a call from Chris about 5 min before arriving.He was starting to put my motor together.I talked to him after I got there and he told me my car will be finished next week for sure.I said I want it ready to drive home by next Fri.Will be making trips out there Mon to see the progress.If it looks like it's not going to be finished by Fri it will be trailered out on Wed.
 
He had all the parts I paid for when I took the car in.I'll be going outthere Mon to see how it's coming along.If I'm not satisfied with the progress I'll let chris know I'll be taking it somewhere else on Wed to get finished.
 
Will be heading out to Blunstown shortly.Going to see how much work was done after talking to Chris yesterday. Plus I want to see how Rich's car looks and sounds when running.
 
Well my trip to the shop was a bust today.Chris wasn't there.Not going to wait any longer for him to finish my car.Will be going there wed with a trailer and 4 members from the corvette club to get mycar and parts and get it finished in Panama City.After almost
6 1/2 months my car only has the short block in it.I'm tired of waiting for it to be done so time to go somewhere else.
 
Well just got back from Blunstown with a load of parts from my car.So far the only things I couldn't fine were my throttle body and oil catch can.Since the room where my parts were didn't have a working light it was hard to see what was still there.On Wed when I go get my car I'll look to see if I can find them. Oh ya I forgot the parts I paid for in March when I took the car in aren't there.New poly bushings,hi performance cats and Z06 sway bars.Making a list of what's missing along with cost to replace.
 
My list is getting longer. So far I'm missing coil packs,rocker ares,lifters,push rods,brackets for coil packs to mount on valve covers plus what I had said in my post eariler.I totaled up what's missing to replace comes to about $2200.00. I sure hope I can find the rest of my parts on Wed. I sent Chris an e mail letting him know i would be there weed to get my car and parts.As of yet no response.
