No Longer For Sale...

Unfortunately, I've decided to sell my 87:( The wife and I've discussed it for some time and she even suggested we keep it, but I have some financial matters that I want to clear up and I'm eliminating all debt (except my mortgage) if possible.

It's an 87 targa, auto trans.
It's nowhere near perfect but it is fun:thumbsup: Runs like a bat outta hell, has been lowered approx. an inch and has 315's on Zr1's.

MAD true duals, flowmasters and tein tips, some new interior pieces, console cover (lid), console bezel and such, and hopefully here shortly a set of new door panels:thumbsup:.

Had it repainted torch red a few years back. Not a bad job and not the greatest, but again, it looks nice.

Have an RD cross brace that will go with it, a car cover I just bought off a forum member and ??? I have here:rofl1:

I'd like to see it go to someone local that will enjoy it and hopefully, finish what I've started.

There are things you're going to need and I'll give you full disclosure on everthing.

I'm not leaving the forum and I'll still be hitting the shows covering for the C4 magazine and hopefully, next year this time I'll be back in a later (C5/C6) with minimal payments, and my other debts paid:thumbsup:

I'm not posting a price becasue frankly, I don't know what its' worth? It's obviously worth more to me than the book value.

Anyone interested?

Gee Gordon, I hate to see another Corvette enthusiast have to go without for any reason. Hope to see you remain active here and get that C5/C6 soon.
I'd love to make you an offer on your 87 but in fact I can only afford one vette at a time right now. Some day it would be nice to own one from every body style :thumbsup: . Good luck with the sale, and don't be a stranger..........Tom :)
 
Thanks Tom and I won't be. I'll still be very active in the community.

I have thought of another C4 in in the distant future as a track (autocross) car, but thats waaayyy down the road. Right now, just gotta get life under control. I like to be able to breathe and need some room, if you know what I mean?

If you hear of anyone interested, please let me know. I'm leaving it open for that reason. No fixed price (it'll be low though). Id just like someone to have it that will take care of it and enjoy it as I have.

Thanks to everyone for thier kind wishes and to those that might be interested, it's no longer on the market. Even spoke to the wife about it before I posted this and she wants to keep it too:thumbsup::dancer01:

Instead, I sold the 2000 Z28 convertible (yeah, the one with the LS1!) a few months back and kept the L98 vette:thumbsup:

A vette brother to the core I guess? Besides, the vette is paid for and MINE!:dancer01:

It's cheap to insure, easy to mod and offeres a lot of "opportunity" (right Greg;) )?

Damn bro, ya had me suckin wind for a bit there.:eek: Don't establish very many close buds (musta been that career thing) but didn't want to not have you there, next to the cooler, next to the Goldie, next to our small and awesome group.

Heck just let me know and I'll come over and supervise Lamora waxing the C4:lmao::lmao:
