My House Is Nearing Completion

Things are sure slowing down in the building biz in Florida.

My builder did over 100 houses last year. He's settling on a number of those now, but has only about 10 going at present. :ack2:

"Fred" the tortoise is pretty big. There's no scale in the pic, but his shell is about the size of a basketball cut in half. I'd guess his shell is 12+ inches long and about 8-10 inches wide.

Mitch Underwood built it.

He's been building in Citrus and Hernando Counties for many years. He built homes for a couple of my friends there.

Congrats Chuck! I know this is really exciting for you and Pat. The new house becomes a magnet, drawing you back to Florida. With O'Malley taking over the state of Maryland, it won't be hard for you guys to leave.

Ah, Martin O'Malley, the "Teflon Leprechaun". He'll do for Maryland what he did for Baltimore City.

His popularity, even in this Democrat controlled state is down to around 20%. Idiot.

Can hardly wait to get back, Rich. Don't know when we can get down again, probably sometime in June. Pat has the "window treatment" people coming, but neighbors have keys to let them in.

She also ordered some furniture, which I (like a dummy) volunteered to pick up, so.....................gotta get there sometime to get it when it arrives.
