Hey all.

My name is Keith Cornett. I got an invite last year from Rich over at the Corvette Forum to check out the site. I have several times and finally joined.

Speaking of joining, I became a member of Tampa Bay Vettes tonight as well. Looking forward to meeting some great people and enjoying the Corvette lifestyle. I've talked for years about joining one of the clubs. After seeing how active Tampa Bay Vettes is in the area, I thought that it would be a good fit. I met Frank, Wendall and Eric tonight and am looking forward to meeting others.

I have a 1966 Corvette. It's a convertible with a 327/300 and a 4-speed. The car was purchased new by my father a couple years before I was born. I grew up in that car, going to shows and meets. He passed away when I was in high school and the car sat in a barn for nearly ten years before my mother said come and get it. (photo below)

In 1995 I built my first Corvette website, dedicated to my 1966 Corvette of course. A couple of months later, I launched VetteFinders.com, a Corvette classified ads website. It's great having a business in the hobby I love so much. I also have a couple other Corvette related sites, but my favorite is my blog at CorvetteBlogger.com where I get to talk about all things related to the Corvette.

Rich, thanks again for the invite. I'm looking forward to getting out and doing some cruises and shows with other members, perhaps the 5 Bridges Run this weekend.

Hey Keith! :welcome: Aboard! Great story about your '66! I wish my mom would find something like that in a barn for me! Of course, if she did, she would probably give it to one of my brothers. "Richard, you already HAVE a Corvette....." :banghead:

Anyway, it's a great bunch of guys here and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

I love your 66. The reason I have my 07 now is from learning how to drive at the ripe old age of 15 in 1968 in my brother's 66 vert. Your picture brought back some nostalgic fumes. Thanks for the memory and welcome to the FORUM. :welcome:
