Need Help getting this Ford out ofmy Driveway! (Need GMS)

Hi, and Happy Holidays ot all the Florida Corvette brethren.
I hope the holidays has treated everyone well.

Well, shortly after I returned from a deployment to the Persian Gulf, I traded my 03 Tahoe in for an 06 Mustang....HUGE mistake.
Now the wife has realized the the mustang is not what she expected it to be. As is the case we are looking at purchasing another vehicle. Specifically a 07 Saturn Aura. However, the negative equity in a 9-10 month old mustang is killing the deal.
So, I am asking if anyone has access to the GMS discount and is willing to help a brutha out, I would be very appreciative.

Thanks!
Jim

I was able to get one through them when I was considering buying a C6.

:yesnod: This is where I got the lead for my GMID (now GMS). I sent an e mail directly to Richard Ott @ richard.ott@gm.com on Aug. 1 and had my auth. # 30 minutes later. Request it as early in the month as possible as GM employees get only a limited # per mo. and they go quickly. Good Luck:thumbsup:

Thanks fellas.
I had another Corvette brother hook me up. The Ford is gone and the wife is driving a 2007 Saturn Aura XR. Very nice car. Saturn has certainly done their homework on this one..initial impressions.

Give us an update in a few months, I'll be looking for a daily driver in about a year and haven't decided on which way to go.

Glad things worked out quickly. By the way, other than not being the right car, how would you characterize the Mustang otherwise, quality, performance, etc. Wouldn't replace the Vette with one, but might make a fun DD. Wife would like a Vert, but can't justify a second Vette.
