Hi we are new.
I have a 1977 corvette, my first, very good shape, needs minor work and an eventual paint job. Looks great though. I'm very excited and have much to learn about these beautiful girls. I hope being here will help. I am doing minor work on my girl now, new u-joints, some hoses, and a complete new weatherstrip, the interior is very nice. My husband is a custom engine builder/automotive machinist and hopefully in the very near future my girl will get a blower motor. I'm so excited.

Welcome to the club. I'm surprised no one has harassed you about pics of your ride yet......... :hehehe:

:welcome::welcome::welcome: to a great group. I love your name Karene. It was my grandmother's first name from Norway and is my youngest daughter's middle name!!!:thumbsup:

Welcome aborard to both of you.

You're going to have some fun with that 77 and I'm sure it's going to turn out just the way you wanted it to:thumbsup:

Blower motor huh? Roots or centrifugal?

Either way, should be a screamer:dancer01:

Great group of folks here and several up your way.

Really happy to have you aboard:thumbsup::wavey:

Now...for those pics Rich was mentioning:D

Thanks for the welcome!

The car will have a roots blower, my husband builds engines and he's planning a doozy! We will remove the original motor, amazing it is the original motor!
And either rebuild it now, it does run well and has only 66,000 miles on it or oil it up really well and store it, so it will always have its original motor available. Just one of many motors hanging out. I always wanted one and after many years of faithful service it is mine. Our other car is a drag car, a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback with a 496. Back halved. Around 850 hp for that one. The vette should come in about 700 hp or so. I plan to show it, drive it, love it and get it up on the drag strip on occasion. This car will not be a full blown show car, it's our fun car and we want to drive it. I love all brands of muscle cars and old school American v-8's. I'm gonna atempt some pics of the vette tonight. Anyone wanting to see the mustang should go to www.badattitudeengines.com. It is up on the top and in the galleries. We plan to show them both together as sister cars and one day will add a dodge/chrysler to the mix. That is one day the encomy recovers. Ha!
