Get the oil change. Drop off the car and walk across the street. I guess salesmen think they can mesmerize you into buying something....
That's funny because yesterday, I drove into the local Dodge dealership to check out the lineup of used 2500/3500 series Ram Diesel Crew Cabs.
When I drove up this old, overweight derelect type was sitting on a bench outside. As soon as I started walking away from my car, he gets up, waddles over and starts hovering
I honestly didn't think he was a salesman at first
He did his sleezy introduction and I told him I was just looking, checking out the differences between the Ford F250 and Dodge 2500.
Told him what I was looking for and his immediate response was :
"
you can't find them!":NoNo: "
Almost impossible to get!
"
No used ones on the market and if you find them they're "expensive."
I told him I can "
find them" all day long, I just wanted to "
see" one up close and personal to compare differences.
He looks at me like I slapped him, shakes his fat little head and says (in a very arrogant and challenging tone)
WHERE!?
I slowly saunter over to my little ricer and open the door, point in, and say...there

as I point to the laptop, already up and running:lmao::lmao:
A couple of keystrokes in Google and about 15 seconds later, he's looking at
no less than 10 pages of used Dodge Ram diesels, mostly crew, extended and Mega cabs, from the early 2000's to present:rofl1::rofl1:
And all priced in the range I told him they'd be in
MORON!!
The internet is a wonderful thing
Told him "I'm only here because I wanted to put my hands on one. But since you've already lied to me right off the bat, I'm leaving....have a nice day...:wavey:"
He was two stepping and pack peddlling his a$$ off as I'm getting in my ricer:toetap05:
Doing your homework
BEFORE you shop pays off big time.
Of course, having on board internet never hurts either

:thumbsup::dancer01:
Looks like I'll be sticking with the Ford:thumbsup:
