New to the forum, but I have had my vette for about five years now. I will attempt to post a picture, but am not entirely sure how, so here goes.

Thanks, it is currently down for maintenance. What started as a simple carb replacement turned ugly when I had a short to ground in the wiring while tuning the carb. The wife and I decided it was time to replace all the harnesses. I have the forward lights harness redone along with new headlight motors. This weekend I will knock out the main engine harness and rear lights harness.

I am waiting for the three day weekend to work on the main harness. Just putting off pulling the instrument panel I guess.

My dad bought a 65 brand new, basically the exact same car I have now one year newer. Sold it when us kids came along and drove family type cars ever since. After I got mine about five years ago he just couldn't stand it. Thats him in his ride parked in front of mine.

:welcome: and I agree, WOW most beautiful C2. Glad you've jumped in a joined the crew. Super folks here:welcome:

Man, you don't know HOW many times I have kicked myself for not buying a C2 when I was younger. I have always loved that body style. Not much chance I will ever have one at this late date, since prices have skyrocketed and I'm just not that keen on getting a carbureted engine again. But they sure give me a case or retinal massage when I see them.

Welcome to the site. Please consider this your home away from home.... :welcome:

I learned to drive in my brother's C2 back in the 60's. What a beauty and :welcome: to the forum. Hope to see you join our conversations on the Forum.
