Noticed a Number on a Tire

I was washing the Vette today and noticed a four digit number on the side wall of one of the tires. This number is about 1" tall and yellow/tan in color. All I use to clean and dress the tires is Maguires Car Wash and Dupont Teflon Tire Shine. Any suggestions on how to remove it? :eek:
 
I know exactly what you are talking about. Is the number 6043 or something like that? I have seen the same number on all of the Goodyear run flat tires when I detail cars. Not too sure how to get it off.

I might try scrubbing it with some simple green or comparable solution with a stiff bristle brush. But I think it is part of tire unfortunately.

Noticed same thing last week on my Dumbflats - believe it may be some sort of lot number..

I have noticed the number to be less noticable after detailing, so this turns out to be a non-issue issue.
 
Lotto number?
Number of times, headache was the excuse since you started dating?
Number of miles before car blows a rod?
Mileage left on your dumflats?
Number of times you said to yourself, "I should of gotten a C6"
Cost of gas per year?
Number of hours left for BG trip?
Number of times you thought you could but didn't?
Number of virgins that will be yours when you go to heaven?

The possibilities are endless... :D
