I've never heard of this one before but sounds like it could be fun. I am up to the challange.

Anyone else thinking of this show? Maybe we can get a hotel close by too.:dancer01:

I sent them an email last week with a request for info and "nodda". I have to guess they don't care.

What info were you asking for that the web site did not provide? There is a link to their mailing list and an e-mail to ask questions. Is that the one you used? Did you plan on entering your Z in the show or just go up..hang out..party a bit...hang out some more..party a bit...stay overnight?
My question would be if the price of admission or registration covers all 3 days if you decide to make a weekend of it..:shrug01:
 
Hey Dave, I used their link (or email addy). What I wanted to know was what day is the car show. As many times as I read I didn't see a day stated. It would seem that Saturday would be the logical but just don't know (or I read it a dozen times and it just didn't click.

Please tell me if I just didn't see the obvious.

I am still game for the car show but at a stand still if they don't even bother to responde to the provided email. Have you been to this one before?
 
I don't find a date for the car show..but since it is a 3 day event I would guess Sunday. I was handed a flyer when I was at the NCRS show in Old Town a couple weekends back. They are having local bands..Vendors..a car corral for people who want to sell a car..a car auction on Sat.nite..
I have not made it to this event. I was looking for someone to chime in that has. Looks like beautiful country and lots to do.. :) ( before it gets too hot ).......

MAYBE RICH COULD DRIVE DOWN.....:D
 
It is a beautiful area and a perfect trip. I was a little confussed by information that seemed to be related to an Oct show in (I think 2011) late in their flier but who knows.

If, maybe I hear something in the next couple of days I will link it and still try to go but thus far I'm slightly under impressed with the info provided. Please let me know if you learn a bit more.

It's much clearer now. I'd like to register for the Saturday Car Show. Can sign up on line and it sounds enjoyable. March 10th.

Anyone else up for a small group to the car show?

Ken did you register to put your car in the show? It looks like $35 gets you in for both weekend days....
 
It appears to me that the $35 I paid on line is for the show too plus access to everything for the whole weekend.

Heard somewhere the first year (last year) they had something like 1100 cars.

Gates open at 0800 so I figure we'll get there maybe 0730.
 
Hey Ken...I went to register online this past weekend but online registration was closed. I think I can register the day of the show for $45... I will try and call them to be sure.
We can plan on meeting up somewhere if you want to ride up together....

If anyone is interested...I talked to one of the event organizers and if you go online and print the registration form..fill it out..hand it to a person at the registration table the day of the show and pay them $45 CASH. you can pick up a packet and you are in.
Ken I will send you a p/m and give you my cell #..Give me a call this week sometime...:thumbsup: I guess we can meet up somewhere along I-75. If anyone else wants to meet up let us know...
 
:Well if anyone wants to make this show we will be meeting at hwy 52/I75..at the Flying"J" / Denny's truck stop at about 7:15... Right now it just looks like 2 cars....:shrug01:... :sleep::sleep:
 
I am just 5 mi south of that stop. I thought I might be able to catch you heading up the highway, but I have to work Sat. Plus I am missing the Amelia Island Concourse too that I want to see one of these years.

Maybe next time. I went to that Amelia Island show 2 years ago. Everyone should try and get there at least once. I have never seen so much money in 1 place before..Some of these cars were well in to the millions ....
