Hey guys and gals! Haven't been around in a while, running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Feels like it anyway.
Here's the issue.
I turn on the headlights, the lamps pop up, but the lights don't come on. Switch to high beams and those come on. Switch back, they go out. When I try and turn the lights off, the lamps will not go down. They go up and down as long as the high beams are switched on. The funny part is, I can turn the lights on, the head lamps will pop up, turn them off, the head lamps stay up. Switch to high beams while the lights are turned off, and the lamps go down! Also, if I turn the lights on, then off (the lamps stay up) and get out of the car, there are warning chimes that my lights are on. So I push the high beam switch on, it lowers the lamps, and pull it back to low beams, then get out and the warning chimes go away. :shrug01:
Any ideas? I'm stumped. I was going to at least replace the bulbs to see if it's just the low beams on each light that are out. The rest is kind of odd if that is the solution.
Thanks.
