Our good friend, Don Marks may you rest in peace.

Ms. AntiVenom

Vicious Evil Person
We are still Choking up to badly, But I figured his friends needed to know so here Iam typing. He was our friend, He was a good man.

He built had us install a fresh engine so he could run his final races, and he didnt get to.

Its the little girls I just don't want to tell, He would drive out of his way on Christmas and sit against the wall waiting for us with a present in his hand. Every year like clockwork. He was a very busy man, he was the president and CEO of Badcock and more but he made time for that.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith : 2 Timothy 4:7

Mr. Marks' family tucked into his pockets the time sheets from his memorable races, including the 2008 Snowbird Outlaw Nationals.
He was the runner-up that year, but it was his biggest celebration. Going 231 mph, he crossed the finish line in 5.97 seconds.

Don was one of the rare guy's that was down to earth even being as affluent as he was. Raced with Don for years and his son who started in JR's and worked his way up to one heck of a bracket racer.

Don will be missed......one of the few good honest ones that seem to be taken far to young.

Our prayers are with his wife & family.

Reading the obits and other links, it sounds like we've lost one of the good ones:(

Sorry for the loss of your friend and associate and may he R.I.P.
