C5 Pass door module repair.

Just found a dude on good ole ebay who rebuilds the c5 modules to your doors stock unit. Cost for a single rebuilt is a most reasonable $65 for the one troublesome relay. Promises a 24 hour turn around of the unit you send for repair. Shipping on your returned unit is paid by him and the final ,,,,,,repair is guaranteed for life.

My pass. door module is on it's way to him. I'll pass on info as I can.

Could be of some help, hope it is.

And the result is.......

I gotta pat this guy on the back and relay the word.

I shipped my door module out on Monday (the 1st) via USPS "if it fits it ships" for $4.95. It went to Winona, MN. It was repaired and shipped back to me and it arrived on Saturday the 5th.

The mod. now works perfectly and I think David Ruberg does great work.

The turn around on the repair and return was just bloody awesome. I will recommend this gentleman anytime.

The repair cost...$65.00. A new mod somewhere over $400 from GM.

He is David Ruberg

Good info Ken! These cars are getting older by the minute, and sooner or later
we'll all need the services of someone like Dave. Tucked his name and address
away for when I need it.
Thanks,
