SebringBill, did you go on the 50th Caravan in the '57? Possibly with a tripod camera in the passenger seat? If so I remember you, and we all thought it was cool to see a classic out cruisin up to Bowling Green.

I didn't go on the 50th Caravan; I drove to Flint, MI for the Solid Axle Corvette Club celebration. (I passed the Detroit Caravan going south at Toledo - tried to head them in the "right" direction back to Flint but no one turned around.) I took this picture from the roof of the original 1953 Assembly Building on June 30, 2003. The first THREE rows were all 1953 Corvettes!

Here's another one of mine, then one of my husband's and mine then one of his. He has the Dark Bowling Green with oak/oak. It's really a nice combo if you don't want black.:)

Slightly MODIFIED??
Yea right, Kind of like a Raptor Stealth fighter plane is kind of just a Cessna,,,,,

:lmao: :yesnod:

Looks AWESOME!!! I would love to see it in person, or hear that slightly modified motor run.

You've done a great job with that car!

So who is the artist? Nice work!

Thank you!
2 artist =
"Scott Spillman" painted and designed (with my help and my tag from the Vette) the fuel rails and the air bridge.
"Rods Custom Airbrushing" painted the heat shield and the targa top.

Thanks. I will be showing it again around November. Currently it has no interior and nearly no exterior panels. An entirely new audio systems is going in, a siz point cage, new interior, alky injection, a new nitrous system, and a new paint job. The car has made over 800 RWHP and I am shooting to push it over 900. That is without the nitrous. If you don't make it down for the Tampa show I am sure I will be up your way before long. You should try to make it to that show. If you have not been before it is very big and alot of fun. I would think it is bigger then Eckler's now.
