Potter Supercars 1960 Corvette Build Thread

Well we are doing a complete mechanical restoration for a customer, and thought we would make a thread on the build. I ran the numbers and this is the original motor.

Found some good info on the car. 362 off the line, in St. Louis
made in Oct 1959....it is a upgraded model with the 270 hp motor. and the upgraded 7 fin gray valve covers.

Found alot of damage on the frame. So we decided it would be better to replace it at this point. We also decided that we did not want to put a aftermarket frame under it. After many calls I found a frame from a 1954 Vette in great condition. I will post up pictures of that in the next post. Here is the old frame.

Frame I found in NJ. This frame has been sitting inside a paint shop garage for many many years. It was reciently sold to another company, who has had it for a few months. They already put it on a truck for me and I should see it next week.

You know I will LOL!! I hope you are feeling better!!:thumbsup: BTW Rashelle keep you ears open for anyone needing a 60 frame. The back section of this is really good so if someone needs pieces let me know.
