Price for headers and install?

I had Melrose LT headers installed w/ RT hi flo cats along w/ new wires & socks. I believe the cost was about $1800-1850.:yesnod:

A tune is not needed. Nice, but not needed. Header costs vary widely, and also by whether you want cats or not. Install costs should be about the same.

:iagree: If you have stock heads/cam...or a mild cam the lower cost TPIS or Ebay headers will work the best....we have two models of high flow cats in stock if needed.

My friend and I just spent ALL day installing TSP LT's and x-pipe on my C5... what a major PAIN IN THE ASS!!! I will never do that again :ack2: :ack2: :ack2:

Just thought i'd share :D

I bought my headers a long time ago, when i was wondering if i would do them myself of have a shop do it, revextreme was the least expensive i found in the area.

you could probably save some coin buying them online somewhere and just having a shop install them. Its a double edge sword with these things, its great to work on the car yourself, gain experience and all that crap but knowing what i know now....no more LT installs in my future!! :crazy03:
