Rain today

Got a brief shower yesterday afternoon, barely enough to register in the rain gauge. Plenty of humidity to go around though.

Got a MAJOR thunderstorm around 6 PM this evening while I was washing our RV! We got an inch and a half in less than an hour! And to cap it off a lightning strike took out our power! As it turned out it fried the fuse at the power pole in front of our house. Usually a surge will cause the fuse to disconnect but this strike burnt the fuse. Anyway, we've got a great power company and they had us fixed in under 3 hours.

Been getting at least a brief shower every day lately. Got 0.64" today. I think i am going to have to get some propane tanks refilled and crank up some Mosquito Magnets.

It appears we all may be seeing some significant rain in the next day or two. And hopefully that's ALL we'll see....

0.64" of rain today. Not much wind at all. Even got to work with my tractor for a bit before the rain started.

Didn't even get an inch of rain here. I think it was something like 0.67" if I remember correctly.

No rain here since Monday. We came in on I-10 yesterday and saw workers removing a lot of fallen trees around Madison and a good bit of standing water along the way. It looks like Tallahassee was spared this time.

Still dry but a bit less humid here in Georgia. It was in the low 60's where we go in Kentucky this week. Looking forward to some cooler weather.
