Rain today

Just been getting brief showers the last couple of days. Around 0.20" each time. Just enough to keep the humidity level in the lethal range.

Heck, we've only had 4.73" here this month. Guess you are in the sweet spot now for getting rain storms coming through. :)

0.49" of rain today. We had another brief shower yesterday, but didn't amount to much. I think these scattered rain showers are supposed to go away by Thursday.

Looks like this is it for good after this week as summer rain will be done. You should get cooler weather but not me.

We got 0.26" of rain today (Wednesday). Lows tonight supposed to be 61 degrees and then 57 degrees Thursday night. Definitely looks like a cooling trend in store for us.

It's cooled down here quite a bit, getting down to 54.5 degrees Thursday night, but looks like temps will ratchet up again next week. Then the following week highs will only be getting into the low 80s.

No real rain in the foreseeable forecast.

No new rain here today.

Rainfall for September = 6.24"
Year to date rainfall 2021 = 63.17"

We got 2.20" of rain this morning. Connie says it REALLY came down, but it didn't even wake me up.

Looks like a good chance of more rain up to Saturday.

We got 3.32" more rain this morning. I heard from someone that the Smith Creek area, not far from us, got over 8 inches of rain out of this storm.

Heck, we have had 5.91 inches of rain so far for October. But it looks like we are in for a dry spell, according to the forecast. Temps not really all that cool, neither, until maybe Monday after next when highs will only be getting to the high 70s.

Well, we got a little bit of rain Sunday night. 0.36", so not much, but better than nothing. We actually were watering some of the citrus yesterday to try to keep the fruit plumped up. Radar is showing a bit more rain on the way by morning.

Some of the tangerines are getting an orange flush already, so some of the earlier ones should be ready to eat in a week or two.

I'm keeping an eye on things in case I need to pop some squirrels to keep them from snatching some of the tangerines. Shouldn't be a big problem this year as I have really thinned out the herd of them around here.

Looking forward to the tangerines getting ripe as I am on the last of the pears from our pear trees in back of the garage.

We got 1.74" of rain over night last night. Lots of wind with some thunder. I believe we were under a tornado watch too.
