Rain today

We had an even 1.00" of rain that began around 11:30 pm and lasted about an hour or so. Lots of thunder, lightning and high winds associated with it. Probably that cold front that will be bringing in chillier weather all this week.

Getting some pretty heavy rain tonight. Had 1.17" as of midnight with more on the way. Then temps are going to be dropping. Looks like quite a few nights ahead of us where we will be covering Connie's pineapple plants.

We got 2.84" more rain overnight, so that brought the total for the storm up to 4.01" of rain. I guess this was the equivalent of that January storm last year, just two weeks later.

Looks like we are in for some chillier weather for the next two weeks. Couple of nights dipping into the high 20s.

0.44" of rain today.

Friday night may be interesting. Rain predicted with a low of 36 degrees. That could mean some white crap falling out of the skies. :ack2:

No rain until maybe Thursday night. Temps are starting to look decent again.

Total accumulated rain for January, 2022 = 6.94 inches

Total for 2022, so far = same

We got 2.64 inches of rain today. Possibly some more coming before morning.

Looks like we are in a dry spell for a while. Directions call for moist soil for the fertilizer spikes I use on the fruit trees, so I have been having to run the irrigation sprinklers on them.
