Rain today

I was driving the tractor/trailer in Nebraska on June 23, 2020 at about 2 AM on I-80 in a rainstorm when I literally ran into a tornado. Luckily it just glanced off the front of the truck and we remained upright but I found myself praying to Jesus to help us. My wife was asleep in the sleeper but it was so loud it woke her up. I told her that I was glad she saw it because I didn't know how I could have described it to her. Up until then I had never seen a wall of rain spinning horizontally!

I think I would be looking around for a change of underwear after something like that!

We got 0.49" of rain since midnight. I think that is all, folks.

Rain for December, 2022 = 3.38"

Total rain for 2022 = 73.19"

Got .45" Sat. Was offshore fishing and rained all day. Had around 3.8" for the month so much better than i did in the summer. And 52.45" for the year.

1.57" of rain today. Connie and I had to run to a doctor's appointment for her, and of course it was at the period of heaviest rain. The dirt road was quite flooded in some parts.

Got 0.36" of rain today (Wednesday, 01-12). Seems to be a cold front coming through, with lows in the lower 30s over the weekend.

We had around .16" right before midnight, and have gotten 1.65 inches so far today, with probably more coming.

Coming in bands. So we will get a deluge of rain, then the sun will pop out. Then more rain, and again the sun pops out.

Well, we did get a little bit more rain since I made that last post. Just 0.03", so it brings the today for Sunday up to 1.68".

Had quite a storm line pass through this morning. Tornado watch was in effect. Lots of wind and heavy rain. Got 2.50" all total, but it sure seemed like a lot more was coming down.
