I cut the Satsuma down last weekend. And the Kumquat. The Kumquat looked like it may have been ok but it was planted directly under the electric line that feeds the house and was only about 3 feet from touching it and no one seemed to care for them anyway.
The Lemon Tree amazes me! Looking better than ever, 17 degrees made most of it's leaves to fall off but it's green and full of blooms now. I had read that the Satsuma was supposed to be the hardiest of this bunch but it's leaves just turned black. And no sign of life after that.
The Peaches, Pear and Plums are all blooming and we planted a couple of Cherry Trees yesterday. We'll see how that goes. I love Cherries!
