Rain today

Small chance of rain next week. Getting right dusty around here and the grass doesn't look happy at all.

Yeah, looks like January up here. Almost all the grass is brown, even the leaves on some of our 20 or so Pecan trees are turning yellow. I haven't seen them do that in the 4 plus years we've been here.
Spotty rain in north Georgia as we came down Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Actually seeing some beginning of Fall colors in higher elevations of Kentucky now. Temps up there are still in the 60's at night, 80's during the day.
Plenty of "Love Bugs" in central Florida for the past two weeks, and even a few in North Florida/SW Georgia.

Well about time..... Got 1.08" of rain today (Friday). That is the entire total for September so far. And from the forecast, looks like that is going to be it for the month. Grass was hurting real bad. And the road became a dust bowl. When it is this dry it gets me worried about out of control fires caused by some idiot thinking this is a great time to burn garbage or tree limbs.

We only got a half inch out of it. I ran into a lot of rain last week in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia. Real heavy in Atlanta Wednesday night, Thursday morning. That's always fun....

Been a really dry month here this month. Might get a little rain today, but not counting on it.

Heck, I feel sorry for my grass. Gotten kind of crunchy. Don't need cutting just step on it and the leaves break off.

Month of September total rainfall = 1.08". All in one day.

Total so far for 2025 = 37.66"
