AGGRESSIVE! The flares look good, but those W-I-D-E skins make them look even better.
How did you mount them? Double-sided tape, bolts, epoxy, or what?

No double-sided tape, no epoxy, no drilling the fenders....
Basic screwing the flare to the wheel well from inside. That's all!
You drill 4 holes on each flare and mount them. Should not take more than 10 minutes on each side..

BTW.. this is NOT MY CAR.

My ZO6 wheels are on the way

From that angle, it looks like it could use some sort of welting or sealer to smooth out the seam between the body and the flare?
Is that just an illusion?

Dont get me wrong.
When I had my 87, this was exactly the look I was wanting to go for!
I just wanted them smoothed in and glassed to the body.

Unfortunately, the 87's gone:(

Yeah.........but the DRIVER'S NOT, and that's the main thing!
Hiya Gordon! Looking forward to returning to Florida the last of March!

:rofl1:Thanks Andy.
Looking forward to having you guys back down agin:thumbsup::dancer01:

SoCali, you know what sized spacers where used to fit those C6Z wheels in the rear? And are those 335/30/19? Those flares are just perfect on that vette.

Since, this is not my vette, i do not know if the owner used spacers or not, but i know he put C6 Z06 wheels.(17x9.5 in front, 18x12rear)
The owner of that vette is from Florida, you guys will see him really soon on one of meets.

The flares are permanently mounted, they are not painted yet, just primed black to match the car.
He is going to shave the flares a little bit more and then he will put that black trim on the flare back to cover any gaps between the body and flare

Actually, this flare is almost twice longer and 1" wider than GS. I like the way they came out, specially the way how you mount them. No 3M tapes or drilling the fenders
