Yeah, you just never know, though. When we bought our property here we were undecided about whether we really wanted to do this or not. So we decided to offer the seller half of what they wanted to give us some haggling time.

But they ACCEPTED the offer.

That pretty much made up our minds for us right then and there, ready or not.

Bet you're right unless you have very deep pockets and lots in reserve. Very expensive place to own property in. I had a bud tell me that the insurance on his modest place in Key West was larger then his house payment. Damn.:shrug01:

IIRC I read that Florida homeowners insurance and auto insurance rates are the highest in the nation.

Having a major ice storm so before we loose power ,internet and heat I'm buying a plane ticket .I'm leaving my wife behind as someone has to feed my dog .:thumbsup:

Just leave a 50 lb bag of dog feed in the bathtub and the toilet seat up. The dog will figure out what to do when he gets hungry and thirsty enough.

It's been 3-4 years and I've still not figured out what his neighbors goat was even doing in his house!:thumbsup:
