This is an open invite to anyone heading to the Festivities on Dec,6th. We are planning on heading over around 3-4pm. You are welcome to meet at my house after 1pm to hangout before the short drive over the the track, or meet at the Beef o bradys at SR 64 and Lakewood Ranch Blvd around 3:30 to head to the track.

Anyone interested in heading over as a group let me know.

We try to go to this every year as it is a blast (No pun intended) I live about 5 miles from the track and the years I don't go I can tell when they fire up the Semi as the windows rattle and the sky lights up. Highly recommended :dancer01:

I am planning a trip to Sebring that day so I'm not sure if I will be back in time to join in this year.

Sounds like what happens on I-75 and I-95 around the October/November time frame...with those :2232censored: idiots and their :2232censored: RV's coming south (causing me to wait in longer lines and generally just getting in the way of my luxurious Corvette cruising)!!

Just thought I'd throw in another :rant: :hehehe:
 
I am one of those idiots that drive down in September and return North in March or April. I don't have a RV but do tow my corvette on an open trailer. Have a house in New Smyrna Beach and live in Florida approximately seven months and the rest in New Jersey. Have daughters in Florida and son in New Jersey.

Sorry about your (causing me to wait in longer lines and generally just getting in the way of my luxurious Corvette cruising)!! but that's the way the pickle squirts and the cookie crumbles. :yesnod:

I would love to be there and meet you and others from the forum but the wife and I are going to Jacksonville to take our daughter to dinner. It is her 40th birthday.
 
CJ Keen just won today's race. He has run for us in the past years as a fill-in driver. Younger brother Jeff has driven for us for the past 7 years....and older brothers Jimmy & Vic are famous in the 10.5 & radial classes.:thumbsup:
