You guys must have much flatter roads and entrances to shopping areas down there than we have around here. I scrape the front end (spoilers) enough as it is with the stock height. How in the world do you get around with the car lowered even more? :shrug01:

I put some frame savers on the front but so far no problems at all. The problem areas are always problem areas and you just take it slow and on an angle. If it rubs a little its no biggy.

sometimes you have to make sacrafices for neck-breaking good looks...i love this car but everytime i look at it now, all i see is the wheel gap. All my cars have been lowered one way or the other and you just have to learn where you can drive and how to negotiate a bump or driveway. I once had a turbo eclipse that was lowered on coilovers, so low that a flatbed driver said my car was lowere than a vette he recently towed...i said dayum.

Greg at AntiVenom in Seffner can do that. He did mine. I imagine any of the Corvette speed shops can.

Brother i just went thru that lowering or deal.I know the look is awesome BUT it really takes away from that ride and the underbody of your C5 .I went as far as you can go with removing all the rubber bumper pad and purchased the 8 1/2 rear bolts .My car was so low that it would hit a palmetto bug if it was crossing the road.:yesnod: I have lifted my car back up and i can not beleive how much better the ride is again.BTW my underbody has took a beating because of lowering as well!!.:banghead: All i can say is think about it before going the next step:shrug01: .I think stock bolts being lowered would do fine without removing the bumper pad. Just my 2cents
