Went to a local car show and there were some nice cars there. I haven't added them to my Webshots page yet. When I do, I'll post a link. There are about 150 pics.

EDIT: Here is the link to all 161 pics.

Been wanting to go to the Spring Hill Show. Is it on Thursday evening and is it at the Chick Fil A at Mariner and SR50. Obviously there are lots of shops there. If it is where I think, that is perhaps 5 or 6 miles east of 19. Please let me know. Great pics!

That is the exact location! I actually live in Largo, so it's a haul for me. If you give me a little advanced notice (maybe 2 weeks), I can get the night off from work. GSJack from this board lives in the area and can make it. If we can get a few others that would be great.

Rich, maybe when your slow season begins, you could make the trip down?

Would be great when the weather cools off a bit, and the afternoon thunder boomers stop with the every day frequency.

Thank you for the confirmation of the show location. The only reason I haven't gone is because of the thunderstorm chances. It is about 70 miles round trip for me and GSJack lives 4 miles from me. It would be great if we could have some presence from this forum. The show seems to be the hot ticket on the west coast and will be very crowded when the snowbirds return and the weather cools down. Put this on our "TO DO" list for sure. It is every Thursday and starts around 4:00 isn't it????

When I go, I get there around 5:00 and there are just a few guys there. I imagine if the weather is cooler, they might start a little earlier. They were still doing a 50/50 drawing at 8:30 this week, but I would think it would end earlier as the daylight savings time ends.

There is a cool new car show in spring hill on tuesday nights. Its at Pit Stop Ice Cream Shop on the corner of Barclay and Powell in the Silverthorn Square shopping center. The show is every tuesday night and starts at 8:00 and runs until about 11:00. There is a great group of guys up there and they have a raffle for free stuff also. This week they are giving away a $150.00 car detail from one of the local detail shops. If any of you guys can come up,be sure to stop by and say hello. I have a black C6:D

Let me know ahead of time and I'll join you:thumbsup:

For me it's a run straight up the Suncoast to SR 50 and across. Not a bad ride at all:thumbsup:

Secret

Now you went and did it!!! :banghead: We folks here in Hernando have had this show all to ourselves and you had to go and let the rest of the world know! On any given Thursday there will be upward of 200 to 300 cars show up. One nite we had over 25 Corvettes. And do not park in the bank parking lot next to Chic-Fil-A as they block it in and if you want to leave early, you can't. All of us "Vetters" park across the service road in the "main" shopping center lot. Also there is a guy that goes around and hands out tickets worth 20% off at the Fil-A!!!

So now that the secret is out, when can we expect y'all??? :welcome:

PS: Bring chairs...

It's been a while since I've been there. The original post was from 2006. It's not to say that I won't go again, but time hasn't permitted me to go of late. I try and stay a little more local.
