St. George Island Super Cruise 2013

Crawfordville FL to St. George Island Saturday, May 18, 2013.

Open to all licensed vehicles.

Meet at the Hardee's in Crawfordville at 9:00am.

Drivers' meeting at 9:20am, leaving at 9:30am.

This will be the First Year for the "David's St. GEORGE ISLAND SUPER CRUISE 2013" Event. We meet at the Hardee's Hamburgers in Crawfordville at 9:00am with a Drivers Meeting set for 9:15am because we begin rolling at 9:30am. We head south on Highway 319 and on Highway 98 cruising along the Coast Line until we make that Left Hand Turn to the Island crossing that VERY Long and TALL Bridge where we have Lunch at "THE BEACH PIT". The Cruise is 60 Miles one way, will take about 80 Minutes and is sure to be very enjoyable, a lot of it is along the Coast Line. The PACE Vehicle for this Event will be my 2010 "SMI HAULER" Ford Ranger Truck. There is no charge to join us on this Event.

Turned out to be a real nice day and an enjoyable drive. Food was pretty decent at the restaurant as well. I didn't count the cars, but I think there were around 15 or so. Quite a few mustangs, and we were the ONLY Corvette represented there.



Storms built up later on in the day and we got back home right before some light rain hit here and it looked like Tallahassee got a pretty good rain.
