Status check on new server

Anyone experiencing any problems since we went to the new server? Slowness, drop outs, or anything else?

I thought it was just me........ damn it. I went to a faster server on a faster network at a faster data center, and the site is SLOWER....... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

And I really don't have time to do another server move at this time of year.

I'll see if my programmer can figure out what is going on. Hopefully he won't tell me that the server is the issue and can fix whatever it is.

I have no problem getting to the site, but when I try to go to some topics they never seem to load.

Well, my programmer seems to think it is probably a server problem. I contacted a third party server tech and he seems to think it is this message board software....... :banghead: :banghead:

So I set this to "plain vanilla" for a while until I can figure something out.

Is it acting any better? I spent some time last night tweaking the MySQL config file........ :shrug01:
